Kalash 12 Nov, 2008. According to some reliable source Kalash community will observe Gandau (Statue) day on 14 of this month. This is a kind of funeral celebration it celebrates for the departed soul. After more then thirty years back Mr. Faizi has planed to bring the past to present, after the announcement of Gandau celebration for his father.

All formalities has been complete for the activities and hopefully will take place on the given dateline. The students who are studying in urban areas have started arriving there for the ancient traditional celebration. According to local source all the arrangements has completed for the celebration, it will follow by the same procedure which the community used during funeral festivals.
